PATRICIA O'BRIEN.
Patricia worked for only a short period of time on the Australis. She joined the ship as a Stewardess from February to June 1975, and she also worked on a South Pacific Island cruise in July 1977. However it left a lasting impression and she would really love to hear from any of her shipmates who remember her. Patricia would particulary like to hear from Katie Hoseman, a fellow Stewardess who worked with Patricia in `75.

Patricia has kept contact with just a few ex-crew during the years. It was a great pleasure to have a mini-reunion with her when she came to the UK recently (Patricia lives in Queensland, Australia).
Also at the reunion was ex-Master at Arms Jimmy Galloway and another Stewardess Glynis revell (*See photo below of Patrica, Jimmy and myself).

Welcome all visitors to the S.S. Australis Website, which has now been online since 1998!

I will continue to update the site if I receive a new story, or if you have interesting photos taken on the ship during your voyage on either the southbound, northbound, or on one of the South Pacific cruises. We used to do those trips several times a year from Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland (New Zealand).

I am deeply moved by the interest and wonderful contributions from the numerous passengers and crew over many years.
