PATRICIA O'BRIEN.
Patricia worked for only a short period of time on the Australis. She joined the ship as a Stewardess from February to June 1975, and she also worked on a South Pacific Island cruise in July 1977. However it left a lasting impression and she would really love to hear from any of her shipmates who remember her. Patricia would particulary like to hear from Katie Hoseman, a fellow Stewardess who worked with Patricia in `75.

Patricia has kept contact with just a few ex-crew during the years. It was a great pleasure to have a mini-reunion with her when she came to the UK recently (Patricia lives in Australia). Also at the reunion was ex-Master at Arms Jimmy Galloway and another Stewardess Glynis revell (*See photo below of Patrica, Jimmy and myself).

Photo is of Patricia O'Brien, Jim Galloway and Ken Ironside.

Regretfully I am "running down" the S. S. Australis website due to increasing family and health issues.

I may occasionally update the site if I receive a great story/photos from ex-crew only, if it is a new contact.

I know there are still stories to share from ex-crew all over the world, who haven't yet been in touch.

I am deeply moved by the interest and wonderful contributions from numerous passengers and crew over many years.

A HUGE THANK YOU.

Warm regards.

Ken.
